Being on a gluten-free diet requires that you remove ALL gluten from your diet. This can be a tricky task, especially if you do a lot of shopping at the grocery store for pre-made meals or items. While the safest way to avoid gluten altogether is to eat fresh foods and cook your meals from scratch, if that is not possible you still need to know

and how to avoid them.

Even if you can’t grab the chips and chocolate due to the diet you are on, you might not know what healthy snack you can get that also doesn’t taste like dried cardboard!

When on a gluten-free diet you know how important it is to make sure you are eating the proper foods. Often we look at foods from the point of what ingredients we CAN eat but it is just as important to make sure we know what foods to avoid.
Usually it’s fairly clear but other times ingredients may be hiding in foods that we were not aware of. When on a diet that is gluten free it’s so important to never take for granted or assume that what you are buying is 100% pure. Always assume there are possible unsafe ingredients, fillers and points of contamination.
