All across Canada and the US, people are donating their time and money to give back. There are so many charity and fundraiser programs out there that are too understaffed and underfunded to get the awareness they deserve.

Knowing this, the people at riceworks® wanted to do something to showcase the wonderful efforts being made no matter the size or cause. So they created the Show Us Your Goodness challenge with the goal to showcase and reward the people and programs out there making a difference.

What is Show Us Your Goodness ?

Show Us Your Goodness is part contest/part awareness campaign. It’s only part contest because everyone really wins when we all celebrate the progress being made. The goal is to raise awareness for all the dedicated people and programs working to make better communities and futures.

The contest part includes three prizes:
One (1) $20,000 Grand Prize winner
Two (2) $5,000 Secondary Prize winners
Thirty (30) $1,000 Sponsor’s Choice

As a special bonus the top three people submitting for submitting your charity’s winning story, the nominators of the three top Finalists will win $100 worth of riceworks® products!

How Do You Nominate Your Favorite?

Nominations are not limited to a specific charity, you can nominate your favorite fundraiser, event or other activity that supports a charity. They to know about all the efforts being made.

To nominate your favorite you simply go to the website at http://www.ShowUsYourGoodness.com and click ‘Nominate a Charity’. Then fill out the entry form with 200 words or less on why your charity is important to you, your family or your community.

On March 16, 2010 voting starts for the ‘People’s Pick’ Award so be sure to visit the website and check that out too.
